A remodel, done right
Remodels are harder than new builds. The work happens inside a finished home, around mechanical systems that were installed a decade or more ago, with decisions that have to respect what's already there. Our remodeling work is built for that reality: careful pre-construction, tight site protocols, and a crew that knows how to work inside a lived-in home.
Where we remodel
We remodel homes across every community we build in: lakefront homes on Payette Lake and Cascade Reservoir, ski homes at Tamarack and Brundage, the estate communities inside Whitetail Club, and in-town McCall residences. We also work inside Jug Mountain Ranch, Spring Mountain Ranch, BlackHawk on the River, MeadowCreek, and the full list of area neighborhoods.
Scope we handle
- Whole-home remodels. Rework the layout, update the finishes, and bring the mechanical systems up to current standards, all without changing the footprint you already love.
- Kitchens and primary baths. The two rooms that most decide how a house feels. We plan them around how you actually cook, host, and get ready for the day.
- Additions. Guest wings, bunk rooms, primary suites, and garage expansions designed to read as part of the original home, not as something tacked on.
- Exterior envelopes. Re-siding, re-roofing, window replacement, and the detailing work that keeps Idaho weather outside where it belongs.
- Energy and systems upgrades. Radiant retrofits, HVAC rebuilds, envelope tightening, and the backstage work that makes a finished home actually comfortable.
How remodels run here
Every remodel starts with a careful walk-through and an honest scope conversation. From there, we move through the same four-phase process we use on new builds (pre-construction, design-build, construction, and post-construction) tuned for the specific realities of working inside an existing home. Key differences:
- Tighter pre-construction. We spend more time up front documenting what's there: framing, mechanical runs, structural conditions. The build phase doesn't turn into a series of expensive discoveries.
- Sequencing around your life. If the home is occupied, we plan work around the parts of it you need to keep using. Dust barriers, temporary kitchens, staged scope: whatever the project actually calls for.
- Clear weekly cadence. You'll know what's happening, what's next, and what we need from you. Every week, not only when something goes sideways.
Who remodeling is for
- Second-home owners updating a home they've loved for years.
- Full-time McCall residents whose needs have shifted: growing kids, aging parents, working from home.
- Owners of homes we built who are ready for the next chapter and want the same team back.
