Pre-Construction

Before the first shovel turns, we study the site the way the home will eventually sit on it. Soils, slope, setbacks, sun, and winter access all get their due. We work with your architect on budget-aware drawings and deliver a schedule built around the real McCall seasons.

What does Hawk Construction do?
Hawk Construction & Property Services is a McCall, Idaho builder and property care company. We build custom homes, remodel existing homes, and provide home watch, estate management, and property services for second homes and full-time residences across McCall, Payette Lake, Tamarack, and Valley County.
Where do you build?
Our core area is McCall, Payette Lake, Tamarack Resort, and Donnelly, including Whitetail Club, Jug Mountain Ranch, Spring Mountain Ranch, and the other McCall-area communities. We also build and provide property services in the Treasure Valley around Eagle and Boise.
How long does a custom home in McCall take to build?
Most of our custom homes take twelve to eighteen months from groundbreaking to owner walkthrough. Larger or more complex homes take longer. Design, permitting, and HOA review come before that, and we build McCall winters into the schedule from the start.
What is home watch, and do you offer it in McCall?
Home watch is a scheduled check of a home while the owner is away. Hawk offers it across the McCall area: a walk-through of mechanicals, plumbing fixtures, doors and windows, and the exterior on a set schedule, with same-day response when something is wrong.
