One team, from first meeting through warranty
Most custom builds involve a handoff. Sales hands to pre-construction. Pre-construction hands to project management. Project management hands to the field. At the end, all of them hand the owner over to "warranty," which usually means a form to fill out. That's not how we run a project. You meet the team that will build your home in the first meeting, and you keep talking to them through handoff and beyond.
Pre-construction that actually costs the project
The single biggest determinant of whether a custom build lands on budget is the work done before a shovel touches dirt. We spend real time in pre-construction: lot walks, feasibility, material pricing, subcontractor bids, constructability review with your architect. The number we give you before design develops is the number you should be able to hold us to. No surprises because we moved too fast to find them.
Local knowledge you can't buy remotely
Snow loads, shoreline setbacks, Valley County permit rhythms, the short Tamarack build windows, the McCall subcontractor bench, the specifics of building on Payette Lake. We know this country because we live here. That knowledge compresses schedules, protects budgets, and keeps the home right for the place.
Year-round presence
Because we run a property services team alongside construction, we're on the ground in McCall every week of the year. That changes how we build: we design for the maintenance rhythm we'll later be responsible for, and we stay connected to the homes long after the warranty window closes. It's why most of the homes we build stay on our property care.
A culture of finishing
Every project gets a proper close-out. A real punch list. Real commissioning. A first-year warranty walk-through with the people who built the home. The last ten percent of a build is where craftsmanship actually shows. We've staffed the company to finish, not just to start.
